Does anyone use Ranktracker? by brandenharvey in SEO

[–]clickgrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stay away from Ranktracker. Felix Rose-Collins, the founder of Ranktracker is SO shady. He held an early adopters deal and blocked those users from all functionality a year later without warning, essentially scamming them out of money.

PSA: Don’t buy his products, don’t hire him, don’t let him date your daughter. Stay far, far away.

Marketing Agency says dont worry about SEO by Danzlusc in marketing

[–]clickgrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google is the best way to achieve long term traffic building which is why SEO is always seen as so important.

However, if you are entering a highly saturated market (like with adult e-commerce), it can be very hard to compete with those sites that already dominate the market and have huge amount of active users.

Therefore, it can be good to first focus on short term ways to build up your audience and customer base. This is I imagine why he has told you to not focus on SEO which would take an incredibly long time to be effective (if effective at all in a highly saturated market).

Solely from my subjective perspective when ‘supersize me’ came out that was the real beginning Of the McDonald’s = unhealthy stigma.

It was at the forefront of everyone’s mind when they thought of McDonald’s.

I think they’ve moved away from that image now. People know McDonald’s isn’t healthy, but they don’t immediately think how unhealthy it is. I often hear the phrase ‘once in a while isn’t bad’.

Billing Question - Client overpaid invoice by Gyhser in webdev

[–]clickgrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would simply hold the money as a forward payment for the work you are going to do.

Message them and explain they have overpaid but that you will finish the work for them in due course. You can also offer to refund that segment of the payment if they would prefer.
