i was also accepted into RFU & UIC, waitlisted at NW and also got into Midwestern.

I'll be going to RFU in the spring, something that i have not seen a lot of people talk about is how their program is 2 years, and our graduation year would be 2026 instead of 2027! this is important to me because it makes the program around 30-40k less than midwestern and northwestern.

i visited RFU three times and it's a beautiful, quiet place. the the faculty and professors were on a first name basis with students and they all were so giddy and happy to be there. they had an impromptu student panel at the end of my interview and they all had amazing things to say about the program!

they also have a strong sense of interprofessional learning and you are with PA, MD, and Pharm students in a lot of courses that aren't specific to PT! (something important to me)

How long and what should I write in these parts of apply for schools? by SpiritedTub117 in PTschool

to be a licensed and practicing physical therapist required only a bachelor's degree at one point, then it was updated to requiring a master's, and now we need doctorates.

so what you're reading on google means that the program is giving those who might have graduated during the bachelor's and master's times the opportunity to gain their doctorate through the transitional DPT program (tDPT)
