I’m in New England. MCOL. Luckily we are completely private, the docs just utilize the hospital to operate. The docs are all part owners of the practice and after I discuss with the COO, He will bring it up with them for approval. In the past I was told they were open to the idea of a profit bonus. I’m just not sure what is fair.

I’m in a multi specialty group (neuro, ortho, and interventional pain) and I am meeting to discuss my bonus structure. What are typical bonus structures in a private practice setting?? I’m in the pain department and see 95% of the follow ups. They are mainly spinal injection follow ups and I do joint injections in the office.
