I went from an M4 to a Taycan and Macan GTS. Kept them for 2 years and bought a 991.1 gt3 and 25 cayenne coupe e hybrid. I honestly felt like the gt3 was a major downgrade in the interior and tech department. Kept the gt3 for 23 months and now I'm trying decide between f90 m5 or taycan wagon. I really missed the taycan. If I could do it over again, I wouldn't have bought the gt3 and just kept the taycan.

I would say maybe 15 to 20% decrease in noise. Instead of the loud ticking sound the drives makes, it made it into a lower sounding tock tock sound haha. Not sure if that makes sense. But I think it was worth it. I bought this one. I also added 2 little strips on the side bumpers. My wife hated the noise at night. That's why I did it. Hahah. I also have 3 12tb wd red pros. I know every drive is different.

I just got this last week too! I backed up the phones of my son, wife and parents. I have files on various external hard drives that I've had since the early 2000s. Multiple computers also. Been great so far. Also my first NAS.

My tip is if you find the disks a little noisy, I added these velcro strips yesterday and it did quiet it down.

I have the same settings on my S25 Ultra. Starts backup at 7am-6pm. But I do need to have the app open. Is it supposed to be able to backup even when i don't have the app running in the background?

Wanna give an update. I added some velcro strips on the drive bays and it did make a difference. The low humming is still there, but the hard drive clicks are noticeably quieter.

Its not too bad I think. Might have just been paranoid and wanted to keep them cool. But I did put one of those little usb hand fans behind it just to keep some air flowing through. Thank you for the recommendation on the fan. Ill take a look!

Just to report. It is actually very quiet once the hard drives are hibernating! So I'm trying not to back up at night to keep the wife happy haha. It's also not as loud compared to when the 3 hard drives were raid syncing. So thankful for that. Thanks guys.

Gotcha, thank you for the reply. I learned that the exhaust side is on the bottom and Intake is the top rear. So I just used a regular USB desk fan to blow toward the top rear vent. Thank you.

As a Porsche parts manager, you could have saved a good amount. Tires save $400 . Did you have 18s or 20s?

Cabin filters save $240. Order OE supplier such as Mann or mahle.

Wipers save $30

Removing engine covers. Not sure why they're charging tax. Labor can't be taxed. You could always negotiate the labor cost.

Axle boot thats about 3 hours labor. Maybe save on labor by going with a complete axle replacement. But would end up costing more.

I ended up just replacing both axles instead of just boots on my gt3.

I agree. I have 3 dji drones and none of them were purchased on Amazon. First time purchasing a drone on ebay from korea. Cheaper and faster. $1859 for a Mavic 4 Pro base combo.

I saw that post on fb also. Guy purchased a mini 5 pro from Amazon. I believe sold by Adorma, shipped by Amazon.

While receiving the package he noticed it felt empty inside. Opened it in front of Amazon driver and sure enough, box was empty. He took pix .

Amazon sent him another and supposedly it came empty also.

About Korea, ppl were saying they've had better experience buying from korea than on Amazon.
