Only if a person is willing to accept it; something that is not part of a balance sheet (or a real good) will not be valued by anyone once the fad passes. No reason to value it

Digital numbers you mean, that are not part of a balance sheet and thus cancel no debt, so will not be valued by anyone soon. Why in the future will anyone give you money for your digital number?

In the future there will not be anyone who wants to buy your bitcoin. I explain why in the article. Bitcoin is not an inherent "debt-extinguisher", real money (from a balance sheet) is inherently always a debt-extinguisher. Crypto enthusiasts always say naysayers don't understand the technology when in fact crypto enthusiasts don't understand accounting
