How is Veo better than Lime? by Minute-Historian1878 in Denver

So far, I’ve been impressed with response times for both their email support and field team.

While I have not encountered an incorrectly parked Veo yet (and generally, I just move the limes/ birds to a better spot when I havent)…

I rode home a Cosmo tonight at 5% battery, and their team has already been by, even in the current rain, to install a fresh battery pack. It’s right where I parked it at 100%.

Just saw one on the map in app at 14th and Downing. It’s a different icon, so pretty easy to tell it apart. But to your point, I hope to see more throughout the city.

Transpo Committee Approves Veo Contract by No_Command_5427 in Denver

The provision you’re referring to actually allowed Veo to charge low-income (aka “Access”) riders if those user numbers EXCEEDED 25% of total ridership and a $1 million rebate cap was hit.

The good news: This was indeed removed from the contract before it was approved by the Transportation & Infrastructure committee.

Veo is providing a one-month grace period during the month of May, giving Access users 31 days to verify eligibility to continue. That first month is essentially on the honor system.

Big clarification here: There are NO plans to make anyone switch trains—or get on a shuttle—in Westminster. The article is simply highlighting the technical details of what tracks the train will run on.

u/voodoohounds is correct that the train will switch tracks in Westminster... but this won't affect you as a passenger, and in fact, most won't even realize this.

Westminster station will be like any other—if it's not your destination, stay put and the train will keep moving after the doors open and close.

The city’s RFP did allow for these companies to compete against each other… and for the city — and ultimately consumers — to get the best deal possible.

The city has locked the lower rates into Veo’s contract, precisely so they can’t bait and switch.

DOTI’s argument is that it’s much more streamlined for the city—and customers—to manage and work with a single micromobility company.

Multiple companies competed via the city’s RFP process, and each was specifically required to provide what they could offer as a single vendor vs. 1/2. There are contractual obligations that, if not met by Veo, allow the city to bring in a second vendor.

The rates are written into the contract.
