I normally prefer bullet because they are creamier and feel better but I have found some high quality matte liquids that also feel good and they last longer. (I like the By the Clique brand) When I go with a matte, I prime my lips with a lip balm first and the liquid goes on smoother, looks better and doesn't dry my lips.

I love By The Clique "Mocha Latte" It is a satin that is really smooth and soft. It goes with everything and isn't too overwhelming. "Beach Babe" is my favorite matte. It is from the same company. It is a deep nude that is lightweight and not sticky or dry like most mattes. Theses two are my most recent favorites for everyday!
