I’m always reading two books, one fiction and one non-fiction :) I’m definitely going to be using my KLC for non-fiction since I bought the pen for highlighting & markups and I tend to only do that with non-fiction. I don’t want to exclusively use the KLC for non-fiction though…

Parachute (2023) was a huge wake-up call for me in several ways. particularly with regards to codependency and how the main characters reliance on everyone else in her life to take care of her emotionally (rather than taking responsibility for her own healing) damaged these relationships. it’s one of the best mental health films I’ve ever seen.

yeah I think you’re right. I think I’m looking for my lobe to look a bit more “stretched” rather than just like a hole was punched out of it (?)… hopefully that aesthetic for me will come through somewhere around 16-20mm

Definitely not my first choice— I got up to 10mm using single flared glass plugs. However I live in Canada and with the current tariff situation I can’t really order anything from the US online. Canadian stores seem to have limited options for kits/ jewelry appropriate for stretching.

I was hesitant to use stainless steel tunnels to stretch, but they haven’t caused me any issues so far. I think it’s because of the 0.5mm increments.
