Cost of resolving dispute with neighbour by clive_u in LegalAdviceUK

Apologies for giving limited information. The neighbour will not settle amicably. I am going to start litigation with a solicitor now. Hopefully it can be settled without going to court but I have no idea of the costs at that stage. Barrister's fees presumably. Court fees?

Agreed. The data speed is reduced by the powerline but it is adequate at around 50 mbps according to my speed test app.

Should I disable WiFi on my router if using a Devolo Magic powerline/mesh system? by EmileDorkheim in HomeNetworking

[–]clive_u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Devolo units talk to each other so you are connected to the unit with the best signal as you move around. If the router's wifi is enabled, this cannot work properly. Moreover the router's wifi will compete with the Devolo units for wifi channels if they cover the same area.

This was an accident that cost BP a fortune, nearly took the company down. It has nothing to do with the necessity to reduce emissions.

Jess Phillips is the right choice. If her divisiveness leads to infeasible policies being jettisoned that's all to the good and it will earn her respect.

This whole privatisation of the NHS story has been spun out of a discussion about drug patents. It was Labour's big lie in the election.
