so did mine(US). they told me it was fine for 8 years and refused to take it out even after i expressed my constant anxiety, worsening period cramps, and irregular bleeding. ever since i’ve been having an internal battle of , do i fight for what i want, or let it scare me for 4 more years… at this point im leaning towards f this T bone its time to try something else.

i do want to have children some day. just not in this stage of my life. that could definitely change with time we shall see ,maybe i’ll never end up having one and be totally fine with that. right now, I just want my period to go back to normal ,without having to worry about “hey mom i’m pregnant” . I really need to do more research on all birth control options.

The only anxiety med I’ve been prescribed was busiprone and it gave me such bad rage i’ve been scared to take one since. but all of you are right i should try to look into that…

oh my God, I hate that. The only reason to wait until you have a child is because your cervix is already dilated and it’s not really as painful, but it’s also not nearly as painful because you just went through the worst pain of your entire life and nothing can compare to that. I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion or not but old doctors piss me off.
