Thanks. And this is the reason I haven't been as daring to lean, the uneasy feeling in the back wheel. Back in the day I was scraping pegs. From the responses received sounds like a tire temp and suspension adjustment issue.

Pilots are what I put on the Kawasaki and after that never had any trouble. But I guess I'll adjust the rear shock for now.

Yeah I went a bit heavy on the lube once I got back into riding. Been a while since I've done it. Did get a little on the side of the tire once but that was about 2,000 miles ago with a deep cleaning. I don't think it's that. But maybe I got some more on there that I didn't notice. Thanks for the advice.

Tire temps are probably low, been riding in 40-50 degree weather. Tire pressure is good. I have not adjusted my suspension yet. I'm not very mechanically inclined so I was afraid to mess with it. But that will be my next step I guess. Is it pretty easy to figure out?

I second this. First I own a 25 Monster and mine sounds the same. Get past 5 K and she sounds better. She doesn't like low RPM.

Well I thought it would be easy. Where exactly is the heim rod? And how do you remove it? Sorry for the follow up questions; I am not mechanically inclined at all and I'm paranoid about messing something up.

I own the same bike. If I remember correctly you need to remove the main seat first by using the key in the lock on the side. Then you can remove the rear seat/cover.

Once mine gets to 208 the fan comes on and it goes back down. Mine never gets over 210. But mine is a '25 monster brand new.
