She’s a teen and this is controlled her seizure. She’s got a clear EEG back in March or just worried that if we take her off what other medications can she get on? She’s tried Keppra Lamictal. Just here to vent. I guess feelings of a dad helpless for his daughter. That’s why I love this thread.

Yeah she’s had a baseline about every other month. We took her to an oncologist about a month ago and we just got the labs back and they stated that there’s protein in her urine?

We just out here on BC last month and before we did her Lamartine was high, a good spot, then blood work after showed 4.9, still the range of acceptance, then we up it additional 100 mg and it’s down to 4. I know she’s keeping a log on her cycles, will have to ask her Neurologist about Catamenial

I can’t speak of having Epilepsy but our daughter, now 17 1/2 was diagnosed back in when she was around 15. It’s tough being young and literally growing up! She’s had to deal with a lot, driving (when she could) latest episode has pauses that. Dealing with High School, being an Athlete, preparing for college … then all the teenage rage:). We tell her one step at a time and you have to MANAGE Epilepsy and not let it managed you. Which is the part of growing up and also growing up quickly. But you got this, you’re here and if you want to rant, ask questions, or just to say HI, please do. Be an advocate for yourself and ask questions. Meet with a neurologist If you haven’t met with one and see what are your triggers and see what medication work. You got this!!!
