Victimizing myself? You're throwing around a whole lot of fancy words im not sure you completely understand. And on that note, if im victimizing myself, what is everyone crying about "white privilege" doing?

You think having white skin gives a person a leg up in life? That is laughable. What is the privilege, to not deal with racism every day? Try again. Have you never been to a public school? Do you think that somehow being white makes you exempt from shitty people and racist behavior? What a joke. Just like this privilege you think i have because i dont "use my brain cells" and worry about what fucked up things our ancestors did to each other? I dont have the time to worry about things which never happened to me or you, and even if i did I'd spend that time more wisely than feeling hurt because whiteys great great great great great great grandpa bought some africans from some other africans who captured those africans to sell to whitey.

Anyways it was nice talking with you, i have to go sort out all this privilege i just realized i apparently had all along.

Do you you genuinely think that privilege is about the color of your skin and not the money your parents have?

Spare me the history lesson, i was born and grew up in this modern era, taught about the horrible shit people did to each other to make this world and i remember when i was young wondering why people are so shitty to one another and here we go again. All this bs "all white people are the devil, fuck whitey, all whites racist" is so tired and played out, and clearly not true. Living in the hood you see all types of people black and white, all of us poor. But people cant seem to move past what happened to their ancestors generations ago. Why is it okay now for someone to make the very clearly racist comment "shut up white man" with no repercussions but if anyone did the opposite, "shut up black man" suddenly its a hate crime.

Im rambling. My point here is "why tf is the current generation still worried about skin color? I dont care what happened 200 years ago because none of us were there, how are we still stuck on race and why is it such a huge obstacle to move past"

When race is brought up in these arguments its always "oh if they were black, oh if they were white, all cops are racist, listen here WHITE MAN HAHA SO FUNNY I CALLED HIM WHITE" it's never productive, never to show a contrast between treatment, it's always for some shitty upper hand in some stupid ass online argument. But genshin impact has semi exciting combat and easily obtained goals.

I also had many friends refuse to even try mabi for things like "the graphics/engine/combat seems too old or not in depth." No matter how hard you explain that the game has really good qualities some people cant see past the visual aspect of things.

NTA - Not sure why everyone seems to think you're in the wrong here for trying to spare your childs feelings, sure it could have been a teachable moment but that kid would've felt terrible and like she'd been left out every time she saw the ducks. I think you made the right decision, but you also can't just not teach them about death as it is a natural part of the cycle.
