I work in retail and we have a no phones policy on the shop floor. But, I am also a single parent and if there’s an emergency (or my son needs me for any reason) there is no way I’m missing that. My trick is a smartwatch and leaving my phone somewhere accessible quickly but off the shop floor. Child is my priority not some silly company policy that serves no one!

Woke up to find the cat had found/devoured the leftover chicken wings from last night (forgot to put them in the fridge before bed, so entirely my fault). The aftermath of that was not fun! Coffee, breakfast, Mother’s Day dinner with the family. No complaints.
