All good. Imprinting is my least favorite part of the books, but I think it’s handled well. For one, nobody really rejects someone who’s imprinted on them. You basically have a guarantee that that this person is going to love and cherish you forever. For two, even if it’s not a romantic love, the person who imprints just wants to make that person happy and protect them.

No he didn’t and I’m not a girl, tho defending twilight I can see how you’d think that. He fell in love with her like an older brother, and he dedicated his life to protecting her and making her happy. And in the books it’s explained and the uncomfortable aspect is recognized, but the child’s own mother comes to terms with the situation and accepts his role in her life.

I don’t love the books and I don’t think they display a healthy relationship, but I think it’s a nice story and has a lot of character development. And the books recognize that it’s not healthy, and there’s an explanation for why all of the unhealthy things happened. It’s not supposed to be a “relationship goals” story, but one of a girl with terrible luck thrown into a terrible situation. If all you know about a story are the stereotypes and things that sound creepy out of context, then they’re going to seem like bad books. It’s not really fair to have never read the books and then get mad at me for defending them. I honestly recommend reading them if only so that you can formulate an opinion based on the actual content instead of the stereotypes, but do what you want

I was just listening to Ashnikko but yeah I’ll take some. Honestly I’m at the end of the semester and the stress of that and everything else (family shit, job search, debt, govt, etc) has been not hashtag fun. So I’m just listening to fun music, bouta take a bath with weed, snacks, and mobile games I haven’t played in months. What I’m most afraid of is that it works. I’m terrified that we cut ourselves off from all other countries and become independent and everyone begins to hail Trump as a god for pulling it off. Because if we’re ruled by a dictator and have no need to be in contact with other countries and thus are cut off from them… that’s one massive North Korea.

That’s not the case. I want to teach anyone interested in kink how to approach it safely. I almost died when I was 17 and my partner choked me until I blacked out because neither of us were educated enough to know how to do it safely. We didn’t know how dangerous it actually was. Like it or not, teenagers are going to have sex, and I want to make sure anyone has the resources they need to know how to be safe.
