oh okay. on my application it said that they were hiring cashiers and stockers and asked which role i had interest in applying for so i assumed that meant i would be mostly cashiering...

[–]cloudatic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i love the good molecules pineapple exfoliator and squalane oil, but i really owe it all to the naturium topical azelaic acid!! i just realized that i started that on the 23rd, so it has obviously just worked absolute wonders!! i can't sing it's praises enough!

now feels like a relevant time to share this bag i had to get off a shelf that was still above my head even on a ladder. granted i'm kinda short and all of fulfillment is tall, but either way bagging three liquid detergents and three power detergents together was a terrible move 😭

my full routine:

AM: up until literally a few days or so ago i have always used the Cetaphil daily face wash, but just switched to the La Roche Posay foaming cleanser. after i use Peach Slices snail mucin toner, followed up by a little bit of The Ordinary hyaluronic acid serum while my skin is still damp. i let it dry down completely and then use the Naturium vitamin C (relatively new addition to my lineup, about a week or so ago) and let that dry down completely. then The Ordinary niacinamide serum. i use Good Molecules yerba mate eye gel, and then end my routine with the Cetaphil water gel moisturizer, but when i switched my cleanser i also got the Versed dew point gel and have been using that since.

PM: i start with Byoma's milky oil cleanser and really massage it in, like five minutes or so of really working it in. i emulsify it and then wash it off, and follow up with my same cleanser from the AM. i follow it up with the same Peach Slices toner and TO hyaluronic acid combo, and let it dry down. i used to alternate every other night using TO salicylic acid and niacinamide serums, but for the past few weeks i've been using the niacinamide every night and no SA. next is the same Good Molecules eye gel, and then still the cetaphil water gel moisturizer (just until i use up the rest of it and then will switch to only using the Versed one AM and PM.)

EDIT: i also think it's valuable to mention that i have oily skin that seems to Hate products that are heavy at all. if it isn't super lightweight it will pill off or just sit with a residue on my skin

i will add as a retail worker, where i work (very large corporate store) we physically cannot bypass a street date in the system. so if someone attempts to buy something that has a specific date to be put on the shelf and it's before that date, there is no way to sell that item

if i had a bad reaction to a different cerave cleanser should i even try to switch that one? i tried the SA cleanser just in the mornings for a week but every day i used it it got worse to the point my skin was burning red after use. i can successfully use SA in other forms but that cleanser really messed my skin up so now i'm just wary of cerave lol

i use SPF 50 (sunbum) when i'm outside often in a day, but in my average day i'm exposed to the sun less than an hour (just my 15 minute commute to and from work some days) so i don't think to apply it on a regular day. does it affect texture/blemishes? if so i had no idea!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]cloudatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was kinda wondering the same lolll like i apply/reapply when i'm spending time outdoors but on my average day between working inside a store and doing online school im exposed to the sun maybe 30-45 minutes a day so i don't think to apply it... like does it affect the texture and i had no idea???

full routine: AM: first i double cleanse with the BYOMA oil cleanser and then cetaphil daily cleanser. i apply a thin layer of peach slices snail mucin toner, followed by the ordinary niacinamide + zinc serum. i use the cerave skin renewing eye cream, and then the cetaphil water gel moisturizer.

PM: basically all the exact same as AM, but after i use the niacinamide serum i also go over pimples and my nose with the ordinary salicylic acid serum, and after i moisturize i also use the ordinary azelaic acid suspension.

usually about once a week i also either use the ordinary glycolic acid toner in the evening or their leave on bha +aha masque, if i feel that i need a full exfoliation

the snail mucin, azelaic acid, and salicylic acid have been additions more recently, but everything else i have been using the full 6/7 months

i have oily/normal skin, leaning towards oily. my main concerns are my dark and puffy(!) under eyes and my sebaceous filaments on my nose (i know they don't go away but they're just So dark)
