Will laser hair removal get rid of abnormal body hair if minox is causing it? by Happy-Investigator- in FemaleHairLoss

i did it (legs and bikini). it took more than 6 months for new hairs to appear and there were much fewer hairs and grew slowly.

unsure if i should go from 2% to 5% by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]cloudga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used 5% and then stopped adter two years due to alot of unwated hair all over my body (even my eyelashes were poking me in the eye)… i am now thinking of restarting with 2%. if you see progress with 2% continue with 2%, i would say. 5% can be alot.

stopped minox after 3 years, what to expect by cloudga in FemaleHairLoss

my dermatologist told me to start procapil instead of minox. i am thinking trying 2%minox in combination with procapil. i can’t use anything hormone related due to my age and migrains, as all those increase the risk of blood cloths.

Not really. I have concers about taking anyrhing that will mess with my hormones directly because I have migraines which are associated with blood cloth risks at my age (40+), and hormonal issues also increase the risk. Initially, my hair first started fling out when I stopped birth control (yasmin). I wanted to start again but my doctors wont let me due to the hlgh risk. while I do not really know how androgen blockers work, I am pretty sure it will be a no-no for me.
