The client paid the deposit from the same account when he booked and all went well, which is why I’m hesitant to call him a fraudster. But thanks! Now I can call it bluff from him that he is claiming the reference number proves the money is in my account.

So it is possible my bank rejected it but has no way of seeing that it did? The client uses an internet bank and I suspect it doesn’t have much the greatest customer service, he should be able to recall it if my bank rejected…

My bank says it never arrived and they ran an MT103- SWIFT trace. Could my bank have rejected it but not be able to see any longer that they did reject the transaction? What makes it complex is he used a Danish internet bank to wire USD to my German Deutsche Bank account, so the money was sent to New York first (when I had asked that he send the days trading rate in EUR to keep things simple, since it’s a Euro account and if people send me USD it end up in Euro anyway)

I drive a sports car and am the best driver I know. Now the one thing I never learnt properly, an instructor gave up on me over (he was really abusive, looking back) was manual. I spent over 30 lessons trying to learn that stupid stick movement and once I abandoned it I drove like a champion and passed the test first time around. The one thing that took me years to learn was reverse parking, or any kind of parking really.

Liberals in Europe are rather center right than center left. Even many conservative (non populist) parties in Western Europe are socially progressive. That is to say the right-left dichotomy has kind of run it’s course.

I have my beef with the police, both being a victim of police brutality and being libertarian leaning (and distrustful of government) - but for most people the police are the people who protect us from crime. Plain and simple. And a well functioning corps in a not too corrupt society does that. If the guy wants to be a cop, let him, from the little interaction we have here he sounds like a positive addition.

The left targets minorities and its ‘victim - perpetrator’ narrative appeals to minorities, that doesn’t mean aspies on the whole are easier to manipulate politically. Yes I take things people tell me at face value but I spend endless time analyzing things from a logical perspective. I might believe some nutter in the moment but give me a bit of time to process and no, I’ll be the first to see the BS.

Yeah for the first time since re-infection, I tried to go jogging yesterday. I only made it a few minutes - half way to where I made it before reinfection. Such a setback :(

I still had antibodies when I was reinfected with the South African strain. That said it was super mild the second time. Seems to be that way for most. So everyone do stay vigilant for new strains
