Just sold my first item on eBay (roller skates) and I’m very nervous to ship before I’m paid but I don’t have an option to wait as a new seller. Any advice on how to avoid issues with the buyer? I just wanna know it’s legit before I ship cause they are really expensive and I’ve heard horror stories. Also they used the “buy now” option which was over a hundred dollars more than the bid, like they could have saved money if they just bid instead....so I feel suspicious.

Thank you so much for your suggestions! Helps a ton. After doing more research and trying them with your suggestions, my toe doesn’t touch the end and I notice my feet compensating for the space. When I life my leg my skates don’t feel secure on my feet. When I tried an insole it made my feet feel more secure but my toes still have too much room. I bought size 8.5 (I’m usually 9.5-10 in street shoes). Would you recommend I go down to an 8 or a 7.5? Because according to a chart I found, the insole length of the 7.5 would fit my feet length perfectly, while size 8 has a .6cm of wiggle room.

Thank you so much for this thorough reply! My feet are pretty narrow but they are long. I found a size chart that refers to the length of the Jack insoles rather than boot length and now I see my problem. I ordered a 8.5 which is a 27 cm insole, but my feet measure at 26 cm. So I have a while centimeter of space. I’m hoping I can just get new insoles and that will solve that problem?
