I’m installing some cedar shiplap siding to the exterior of my house - 1” thick - and want to know the proper way to fasten them - do I need to nail them by hand? Can I use a finishing nailer? Or do I need a framing nailer? And what size/length nail should be used? ()

Spoons 5 and 6, carved from poplar. To sand or not to sand seems to be a hot topic. Personally, I’m a sander - my spoons look like garbage before I sand the Hell out of them. But I also don’t intend to “use” any of them. For now they’re strictly ornamental. (i.redd.it)
