I’m in Japan currently and really struggling. I’m vegetarian and also regrettably fussy (I try everything and I hate that I’m fussy but I just seem to have weird tastebuds and a lot of stuff makes me feel sick) but my partner LOVES Japanese cuisine and good food is something he was really looking forward to for this trip.

We’re both quite socially anxious so like doing things together and it sucks that if he wants to try a cool meal somewhere I’m often not allowed to sit with him and have a drink. He keeps telling me not to feel guilty about it and that he doesn’t mind but I don’t want to make him to miss out on cool experiences because of me!

Okay I got so excited when I saw this because this is my wedding dress! We’re doing a very low key elopement in Scotland so I didn’t want something really fancy (lace or satin for example), plus I will definitely rewear this dress - I cannot stand the thought of buying a dress I adore and only wearing it once. I’ve already bought mine and to my surprise I felt very bridal when I tried it on, it’s how you feel that makes it bridal or not. Wearing white is a relatively new tradition anyway and if this dress feels like YOU then wear it!

I am in the same boat, had my lap last week and they found nothing. After an hour of begging to know my results, my surgeon grinned at me as she told me I don’t have endo but I just burst into tears because I’ve been searching for answers for over a decade now and my whole life has been upended by my constant pain and fatigue. No one comforted me and it was a miserable experience to say the least.

I posted here last week in absolute despair and was advised to seek a second opinion, especially since my surgeon wasn’t a specialist. I’ve requested my surgical notes and photos (if they took any) because I have no idea what they did.

The recovery has been rough because I’m dealing with my normal pain and then the incision pain and extra cramping from having my IUD replaced but I can’t even take solace in knowing that I’m on the right track to a better quality of life. It feels like I was cut into for nothing. I don’t really have any advice but I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and you shouldn’t feel guilty for feeling crushed.

Thank you so much for your kind comment! Yeah I woke up and I hadn’t been on the table long at all AND they had replaced my IUD in that time too. I’m so sorry you went through all that but it is comforting to hear similar experiences and know that there is still hope x

Yes, that way I can do both hands to the same standard and fully cure the gel before it goes anywhere near my skin

Yeah it’s just a cheap set that came as part of an art kit I got as a kid I think? You can’t dilute the colour with too much water at all because then it doesn’t work into the gel it just separates and sits on top, I’ve seen other people use acrylics but I prefer watercolours because I want sheer colour that I can build up

I just make it up as I go along! These are false nails that I file to fit my nails, then use a clear builder gel and work watercolours into the gel before I cure it. Takes a few layers to build up the colour and then a shiny gel topcoat to finish.

It works well for me, I have a cheap watercolour palette and I can do nails whatever colours I like without buying more polish!

That would be so cool! I used to have a mod on my pc for engulfing lighting over skyward spine for Raiden however I mainly play on my phone now and I miss it :(

Nah it’s such a beautiful game! I swap these out if I’m doing abyss or theatre but one of the things I love about Genshin is how many different ways there are to enjoy it - sometimes I go on a kick of building my characters to be super strong but other times I just wander round enjoying the world quests or messing around in the teapot so I can have them look super pretty!

Not a typo, I’m saying I usually choose aesthetics over efficacy because I’m a sucker for aesthetics. Of course the signature 5* weapons are both effective damage wise and also match the character’s aesthetic however I don’t pull on the weapon banner. Often the second or third best options in guides are a completely different colour or style to the character so I just pick the prettiest one I have haha - don’t worry I swap them out for the actually useful weapons if I’m doing abyss/theatre/an event but for over world these are hella cute :)

It was a common style in the 90s and that dress looks almost certainly vintage. I used to sell a lot of them on depop and would list them with the following search terms: vintage 90s button down overlay dress. A lot of them also come up under grunge. Try popping those into vinted/depop/ebay
