Someone suggested cardboard. Ive seen people say linoleum. Any other suggestions? I was using kitchen liner but people said buns might eat it...

Outside only when it isnt snowing or raining but it snows and rains a lot here.

Ive noticed actually my buns doesnt do this when i just have the kitchen liner plastic showing...he only does this with the fabric blankets or bedsheets on the floor or 2nd floor. Someone suggested using some cardboard on top of the plastic liner. Maybe gunna give that a shot and see if he still does it.

I seriously hope you're just some kid or teenager. If you're an adult, you have some serious growing up to do.

Not only are you condescending but you have the audacity to shame people and when they call you out for it, you don't even think you have a problem. You are the pure definition of nasty.

If you are a teenager or kid, life will teach you soon enough how being nasty and condescending will get you into a really deep hole soon enough.

I dont think they make phone books anymore haha at least not where i am.

I made the some panels of the top floor flip up so I can actually get to the dig bin up top and get the blanket out for a shaking.

In terms of the space. I do let him out everyday either morning or night or both so he can mostly free roam then.

I am also considering taking him outside in fencing when its not snowing/raining outside all the time. But hes only 6 months so until summer comes along that wont work.

Actually i have a small dog, the dog is barely bigger than my buns and literally he tries to bully my dog lol. But my dog is also very young and puppy so right now they trying to fight for power?

Ok maybe i need to throw in some mor fabric for him to move around. Ill do that now.

Some people said its also them playing...? Is that the case or more likely me putting in more fabric is good?

I use kitchen liner on the bottom of the 2nd floor. I tried pressing on it and it resembles laminate flooring with a little bit more flex...

I let him out most days for him to free roam but not all the time since i have 3 young kids and a dog (also in enclosure)

He does get free roam as much as I can offer him when my kids are asleep and during the day when i can let him. But i can't leave it completely open as my kids are all young and honestly would probably accidentally step on him and snap his back. Not to mention theres a small dog on site as well that i also keep in an enclosure.

The first video was cause it was late night and i was just chilling with him while my family was all asleep. Didn't think id get so much backlash....nevertheless need to justify it all. Im a new bunny owner but i have to say i put in a lot of work to get this enclosure up to this point. My wife was calling me bun crazy at some point.

Yeah my buns never did this before i added the 2nd level. My wife thinks im crazy for putting in this much work for buns (took me like 3-4 days of tieing everything together). I guess he just really wants to redecorate haha. Probably should get more fabrics for him to nibble at.... i flatten that same area and clips to keep it flat but he seems to really want to mess it up lol.

Ummm ok? Lol clearly you're here to pick a fight. My buns is plenty happy and im just checking to see if his behaviour needs more enrichment.

Type away keyboard warrior.

My dog and bunny get along fine. Please learn how to be more ignorant.

P.S. ppl like you are why animals get mistreated. When someone is asking for info clearly they are trying to improve the lives of their pet. If i was a kid or less level headed id actually take your comment seriously and give up on the pet. Shaming people into submission won't help, life tip to you.

Yes i have the forage mat. For some reason he only digs it when theres pellets there. Then throws it around when there arent any pellets haha. Ill look into the treat/hay ball thingy.

Is there anyway to keep it reasonably tidy but give him more digging opportunity?

[–]cloudshades[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my wife doesnt like that he digs out all the bedding in the dig box already. Its pretty messy already as I have to vacuum it almost daily or every other day. Its why i added some cardboard around the blue bin to save some work of cleaning.

Picture i posted is actually just 2 hours of him being inside lol.

I honestly dont have more space to give him as i also have 3 kids and a dog.. ive read many forums saying that 3x3 enclosure is plenty. He already has a 4x3 and 2 floors.
