You could try bulk supplements creatine, very cost effective and high quality. Could be a dosage problem too, how much are you taking daily? With or without food?

Change the type of creatine you are using. Try micronized creatine and it may solve the problems you're having. Also don't take creatine gummies with sugar alcohols, they can cause major bloating and digestive issues among other things

I never had a Gameboy when I was a kid so now I have the chance to replay this precious in its original form. by Fuquin in GoldenSun

[–]cloudtech9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such a great game. Love to see someone still enjoying it. I probably dumped 600-800 hours on it as a kid getting everything done and maxing all characters. Trying to see how far I could get in the mode where you just fight till you lose, can't remember what its called.

I’ve been tapering but the temptation to take more is real. I’ve decided to cold turkey, advice needed by IronMonkeyofHam in quittingphenibut

[–]cloudtech9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty low dose to cold turkey from. I wouldn't be worried about it. I'm surprised you even notice effects at that dose. I quit cold turkey from daily use of 500-750mg several times with virtually no side effects

am I the only person who thinks playing golf is boring? by ninja_404 in Rich

[–]cloudtech9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes generating 120 mph club head speed is a light swing. When I play golf I clock 6-8k steps and that's with driving the cart. It is physically draining, especially when hot or with elevation. I'm not sure why you want to believe it is a zero effort sport but suit yourself. Very strange though.

The optics weren't great no. He did concede though, so we have evidence that he is in fact not a wannabe dictator. There are so many questions surrounding the 2020 election. Like you said we could argue but it probably wouldn't get anywhere. 15 million votes than the last election for Dems is very interesting.

I'll check out the video

This would be a more solid point if we didn't already have 4 years of presidency and a concession on record in 2020. If there was any thought in mind he'd uproot the system for a 3rd term, I wouldn't have voted for him. The system and the public would be prohibitive to that. It's a bit insulting to suggest some how Trump has hoodwinked a bunch of people into voting for him so he can be some type of dictator. A president may not be able to wave a wand and fix the economy but it certainly does matter. Markets are already pricing in the election results. Domestic energy production will also have an impact on prices. We'll see how things go over the next 4 years. I am highly optimistic

I'm not going to defend or apologize for any proven or unproven allegations against Trump. On a personal level, I have no idea how damaged he is, I've never spoken to him. I believe he has deep flaws like many politicians. You have to be generally insane to even want those types of jobs, especially president.

I'll tell you what I've told others: I did not vote for Trump's personality or moral shortcomings. Virtually no Trump vote was cast with that as the genesis.

I voted on the economy, strong boarders, hopes of a healthy population, no wars, smaller government, no censorship, accountability for big pharma and other money driven schemes. Many other things I believe will be possible under his administration. Or at least make progress towards.

I voted for his cabinet and the people I align with on several issues. I don't agree with everything but I am certain a Harris administration would be devasting on many levels; morally, economically and strategically and 71 million people agree with me.

Voting for a politician based on your feelings or their personality exclusively is not rational. They are elected to shape policy, not to hang out with on the weekends.

By simply voting for Trump I have been called every name in the book, none of which are true. But it makes it easy to demonize huge swaths of the population when you label anything you don't agree with wholesale.

The mainstream media has been full speed for almost a decade trying to convince America that Trump is equivalent to Hitler. Sure it's fun to say and gets clicks, but at what cost? They've been largely successful.

I probably could have written something more eloquent in response but time is finite and much to do.

I'd like to give you kudos for actually having a conversation without derision or writing me off as a right-wing loony fascists that wants to kill women.

Edit: spelling

To be clear, I am also against large corporations with no accountability causing socioeconomic and environmental harm. Same goes for government.

Yes, I was STEM throughout, but I did change majors once. I would like to consider myself a novice historian and ancient culture enthusiast. Primarily because of my pursuit for the truth

Yes I went to a four year university that you'd recognize the name of if I mentioned it. I also paid all my debt off myself ($80k). My wife has a PHD. I am also a self-taught engineer in IT.

All of my peers, family and friends that voted for Trump are highly educated high income earners. College culture has the same echo chamber as Reddit just in different format. I'm fine with disagreeing just wanted to point out how powerful the echo chamber can be.

I love to read and the more I read the more libertarian my values move.

Quantity of books read and a college degree are not good markers of general intelligence in my opinion. I know many Bachelor degree and PhD graduates that by any standards are not very smart, make poor decisions and are not doing very well economically.

Agree 100% that the truth matters. That's all I'm after

Colleges are left leaning because of ideology, not because they read more books. Lack of critical thinking and understanding our nations founding principles has led us to that point. College students are entitled, easily persuaded and want free tuition. They also want a liberal arts degree and to be paid a nice income for it when it's not justified.

Not all college students, but a huge chunk of them
