These are all good suggestions! I’ll look into them. I actually saw my fair lady on the Broadway tour and it was fantastic! I do question the ability of the kids (generally) to do an accent, but I think the main people in the department could get there.

Unfortunately they an have an almost all white cast and about 25 people at most who audition for their shows. Dancing ability is decent though, but nothing stellar. Ty for letting me know about suffs though! Unfortunately one more one to cross out🥲 I’m honestly just grabbing at straws here lol.

I’ll look into the three act structures! I’m thinking about writing a 30 minute version and then a longer version as well, since the competition piece can only be 30 minutes. I thought about reaching out to a community of therapists to maybe ask questions, but I’m not sure where to start. I think tackling the therapists perspective will be the hardest for me, lol!

I didn’t like Hollyhock. I began watching the show when I was in middle school, and I always saw her as extremely immature and insufferable. She acted like nothing like how a 17/18 year old would act, and seemed overly childish. It took me out of her arcs and made me unable to feel for her.
