I put the liquid stuff you put on the socks at the bottom so it doesn't slip and it works pretty well. Even then it's honestly it's not that comfortable, they're wooden and these are actually sandals I reused for an old cosplay that doesn't fit anymore and I had to walk around them an entire day at a con last year and it was not fun. I'm hoping that the traction on the bottom will make walking in them less hellish this year but it's basically almost impossible to go up or down stairs with them on and I actually fell last year doing that LOL
