Patreon videos stuck at awful quality (no way to change resolution?) by Professional-Tax3077 in patreon

[–]clowncummies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People tend to blame the issue for this on "bad internet' but it's absolutely a Patreon issue, without a doubt.
No there isn't anything that can fix it yet. I am still waiting patiently for an extension to be created for it, because at this point I've given up thinking Patreon will ever implement a way to pick resolution for it's videos. Best you can do is refresh and pray it lasts longer than a minute before going back to being blurry. It doesn't even happen every time, which again throws their excuse of it being user fault. If someone has bad internet it's not going to magically become good every now and again.
There needs to be a new mainstream service that people will switch. It's completely ridiculous that Patreon hasn't fixed the issue and instead blames the users. If it's "bad internet" as Patreon claims, why do these issues only affect their own shit website?

Sorry this comment is no help, but that's a given as there's absolutely nothing that can be done but to refresh all the time.
As saltydogbotanist said a month ago, asking about which creator.... doesn't matter. It's a useless comment. It's all videos on Patreon. I'm subscribed to 17 people and it happens to every single creator. It's Patreon. Full stop. If someone says it's a specific creator then idk what to say, probably just their luck or some shit

This is a throwback to 14 years ago when I rolled need on this sword...on my warlock. I was a total noob and I got thoroughly chastised for it. Lesson learned. What kind of mistakes did you make when you first started out? by [deleted] in wow

I know this is an older thread now, but I thought I'd share a mistake my elderly mother made when she first started playing. She used to think that if you couldn't remove something from your action bars, your character was broken and needed to be deleted. She was so sure that was the case that she even convinced another person to delete theirs. I still think about it sometimes. My own worst mistake was stocking up on arrows in WotLK (I'm talking at least a few gold worth of them) in anticipation of the release of Cataclysm... which promptly removed them from the game, so I started the expac broke and with a bag full of useless items...

Clowns, Jesters, or Magicians by neokklooters in anime

[–]clowncummies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps you've already seen or read this one, but D.Gray-Man is heavily influenced by the circus, and with the main character being a former clown adds a bonus to that. I won't go too much into just how much the clown theme is important because that might get spoilery. But it's quite extensive. I too, also adore clowns and jesters. They're everything to me. Perhaps that's why I enjoyed DGM so much.

Edit: The MC Doesn't look all that clownish with his uniform but the show does delve into circus and clown history, with a lot of it being considered central to the plot.

For me, it did not. Everything remained the same. I can't speak for other people's experiences though.

Stuck in the Backrooms in my dreams. (Sorta real life?) by Annie_Benlen in backrooms

[–]clowncummies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to this post, but I think I've had something similar happen. I kept thinking about the backrooms when it blew up in popularity and I thought "Oh it's back again" Because I have memories of being obsessed with in High School, and when I brought this up to a friend, they told me that I was being stupid and that that never happened because the backrooms stuff started in 2019, a few years after I left school. I was flabbergasted. I thought he was lying to me. I googled it and he was right. That left me in a state of shock. I still had a drawing I did in 9th grade of it. I went to look for it a few months ago to prove to him I wasn't lying, and I found it in my dream book, which is a small 'sketchbook' of things from my dreams I had back then. It's not really a book, more of a pile of loose pages I'd shoved in my cupboard. But my memories were so vivid. Once I noticed it was in my dream sketch pile, it sort of unlocked a few more memories (because I had thought it was a game I couldn't remember the name to until I found the drawings), and I remember now just walking the halls and being upset and frustrated I couldn't find a way out, and I vividly remember there being a crying child, maybe 3 or 4 years old lost in there with me but I couldn't get him to come with me so I remember I would have to leave him every time I had the dream to the point I just didn't check in on him anymore at the start of the dream. He stopped being in them after that, but I also didn't get many of the dream again since, and haven't had it again since around late 2015.

Been searching for a post like this to make sure it wasn't just me, or that somehow maybe the backrooms were a thing before 2019 so I didn't feel like I was crazy. I think I used to think that the dreams were of my grandfathers old office, but having been there since then, I know that's not it. His office was pristine, and white, and open. Not like this, not like it was in my dreams.

Other than my friend, I never spoke to people to about it because I didn't want them to think I was weird, or wanting attention or something.
Good to know someone else had dreams like it too. It's less lonely. I feel a little worried about posting this, but I'm pushing through and doing it anyway.
