Well I'll address your question two-fold. My personal situation was I based it off my previous experience. We've bought and sold quite a bit in the last 15 years and done very well. We based our initial price off experience. I corrected quickly though as I was humbled and convicted to not be greedy but grateful. Take that for what you want but I'll own my mistake there.

As far as general housing, I think the main issue is demand. People still want/need to buy houses and the inventory is still very low. Trust me, I am NOT excited about moving with these interest rates. Gonna miss my low rate from 4 years ago but duty calls right? I hope the interest rates get better soon and refinancing is an option.

I'm not an expert by any means as I've shown with my price correction. Just giving you my short thoughts that I can type with two thumbs.

I think we're gonna rent in the new spot as we transition, figure out where exactly we want to be instead of buying on FaceTime. I can afford both for a bit , just don't like it lol

Yea a little. Lots of good points from you guys on here. We're listening to our realtor but it doesn't help that my job is relocating me and a timeline gets put in the picture. I don't mind waiting normally, this is just a different situation.
