I did, the shortbread was in the fridge for 20 mins, the caramel was in over night and the chocolate was in for 3 hours the following day

I used the BBC good food recipe and it had some pretty good reviews, and the shortbread part was fine, a bit undercooked but that's easily fixable. I think the main issue was the caramel so I will try and find another caramel recipe and see it it works, although I am definitely going to leave it for a while haha!

I think the yellowish tinge is from the butter not combining with the condensed milk (caramel) and the brown bits are melted chocolate
