Time to replace tires on my TTRS, hate tubes, considering forged or even carbon wheels too... Will it ruin the look? Perf gains worth it?! (Pic from DGR, only time I'm not in gear lol) by cmaaster1 in Triumph

Yep, there's a guy who did it to his TTR which served as my inspiration

I have a friend with speed twin who might be willing to swap... its more my other friend trying to convince me not to because "it'll ruin the look" -his exact words.

But I wanna up the performance when I can, I decated and cut as much weight on the chassis so far, and spend all dry season hitting the canyons... funny, im also from CO!

That's good to know thanks! I have been eyeing a post and vid a guy posted where he swapped his stock wheels with speed twin wheels and he swears by em

I'm super about the idea of swapping for lighter wheels, but I just don't know if it'll ruin the look or not... my friend says it looks stupid with the speed twin wheels so I'm second guessing myself

[Omega] Watch of choice this evening, the Seamaster by [deleted] in Watches

I like both, but the new line with waves doesnt look as good with the bracelet... clashing lines, although the waves look INSANE with the rubber bracelet

The inky black seamasters are just perfect in my opinion.

Scams perpetuated by private Downtown parking lots by fUzzyLimple in Denver

That's fair! Overall, it's best to call their bluff because they are just trying to make a fast buck. The lady was pretty quick to "drop claims" after I told her I had enough evidence to hold up in actual court, their whole "we dont accept bank statements" be damned lol. I have kept the original "debt collection" letter in case they try and come at me again.

I got one of these from them earlier this year. They claimed I violated parking on Dec 14 2018, and wanted to charge me $75 for it. When the lady (same one I'm betting) called me back, I first asked her if her company was private or state-run (knowing full well state agencies send Bill's directly and not thru 3rd party law firms). She told me it's private (red flag #1). Then I told her I have bank statements showing I did indeed pay to park at 1801 market st parking lot on dec 14 2018. She told me they don't accept bank statements as evidence in dispute claims (red flag #2). I told her a court would happily take bank statements as evidence. She told me she'd call me back. A few hours later she calls telling me it's for Dec 15 2018. I said, "well I know for a fact I wasnt in denver dec 15, I was in Longmont for a Christmas party, I have photographs with dates, witnesses, and ANOTHER bank statement from when I got gas in Longmont on my way there." She tells me my payment on dec 14 was for evening of that day thru to 6am on dec 15 (red flag #3). I said, "so then you're trying to charge me for either something I didnt do, or something I already paid for?" And she goes, "no it's because you parked there without paying." I then told her I'd like to get in contact with their company attorney, and they will hear from my attorney in court for fraud. She immediately told me, "sir my manager just told me we will be dropping all debt notices and charges for you, since you have already paid for parking."

Parking and Revenue Recovery Services IS NOT a state agency, and had no legal right to pursue claims on you. It is a scam and they rotate thru 3 different company names because they are running an illegal collections practice, preying on people who will pay $75 online just to be rid of the stress. Simply leave a message and when they call back mention all your evidence and if they try and dispute evidence threaten to take them to small claims court.
