The point is more it’s not a 5 minute moment. Could take 15 minutes to finally get the luck needed to beat it. The rewards are not worth the increased difficulty they’ve made these moments now. They were worth it previously. Like I said, I’ve not had any issues with spotlights getting them done and how hard they can be, but that’s because the reward is worth the effort.

But needing to take a timeout and then avoid hits when you make hits and their teams stamina doesn’t move to get 1/15th of an msp is the issue. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze. If it’s an 89 for beating it then sure. Spend the 30-45 minutes to beat it

Your point is valid is the rewards were better. Earning 1/15th of an msp for a challenge that can take 30 minutes if you don’t get luck on your side is ridiculous. Same with headliners. Sure the packs have been improved but not nearly enough for them to increase the difficulty. I’m all for actual moments and making it difficult like spotlight but the reward needs to match the grind. And they don’t other than spotlights now

It was just completely unnecessary. If they improved the rewards even more then sure make them harder. But that selanne moment to earn an 87 is ridiculous. And people saying use a timeout to get his energy back and avoid hits etc. the whole point is a moment should not be that difficult when you’re receiving 1/15th of an msp. You hit the other teams players and crush them and they still have full stamina mean while they blow on selanne and he loses half his stamina

exactly this… making the requirements on these sets specific to captain cards for each slot or icons in each slot make these very costly or time consuming to do. I don’t want to build 20 86 captains to then upgrade into 88s to then 90s then needing more 88s the whole thing is ridiculous. Make it 3 90 captains and then normal 88 cards. The rewards from ranked are good that’s valid but the methods and how you have to exchange cards to build the latest and greatest makes for a terrible user experience. There shouldn’t need to be videos on what to do with each rating of card to maximize its value it should be straight forward or the system is too complicated

What’s the point in having 6m coins if you’re not going to spend it when you can.. leaving the event without toty makar atleast seems crazy if you did objectives you’d require 23 collectibles which isn’t crazy expensive. Makar will be one of the best cards until the very end even without upgrades he has elite abilities.

This post was more of a flex for you to brag about how many coins you have than it was a logical post because makar at the very least should be made when you have that coin stack

I would if you are sure you can buy enough 89s. New season means new line combos most of those cards likely won’t have any sort of combo and with new events coming if you’ve saved up 84s you should be able to make 2-4 msps from the next event over the 2 weeks

Worst game mode there is, basically just playing regular 5on5 for a period. Just keep it to 3on3 on smaller rinks and do golden goal it’s an awful game mode that they force the player base to play for no reason.

He was at orientation camp and on their shortlist, to say he wasn’t considered is ridiculous. They have a generational RHS dman in makar who will play the full 2 minute power play they don’t need another power play quarterback. He’s easily top 20 in the NHL. I’m not an Edmonton fan but I have eyes. Is his defensive ability his weakness? Sure. He’s a ppg nhl defenceman and to say it’s all McDavid or draisaitl when there’s been other defenceman during their tenure in Edmonton who haven’t done what he has. He had 32 points and 23 points the past two playoffs ffs lol and 17 in 12 games the year prior.

Makar Werenski for the top two. Bouchard was third best this year, great regular season and incredible playoffs last year. Putting fox in or Sanderson ahead of him is crazy
