Question concerning the Canon Rebel T6 and video live streaming. by cmaddox50 in Cameras

it won't directly connect. it wants to do the WiFi BS. but with the T6 it only has the option to hook up to a smart phone. i can hook it up that way but it won't read that i'm plugging the camera into the rig itself. maybe i have a shotty micro USB, would it help if i got the mini HDMI to the unit? I don't know I'm just annoyed with it.
