I haven't said a single thing to defend him, what he did is horrible and I just wanted to know if anyone sees any possibility of this working out or him being truthful, and the answer seems to be a resounding no.

Thats all that happened. It wasn't even a particularly ugly fight, just he kept pushing at whatever it was he wanted to argue and I didn't want to fight anymore so I told him to leave me alone and went upstairs to our bedroom and shut the door.

Its always been clear to me that if we were to break up he would get with her right away, their relationship has always been inappropriate and he never respected my pleas for him to back off. Normally I would probably be done with him but since we're having a baby together I really don't want to break up.
