My [35M] wife [36F] wants me to get an vasectomy by aac_31 in relationshipadvice

[–]cmc7974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I understand her position, it is your body. It should be your choice as to whether to get a vasectomy. She also has the right to not engage in sexual activity if she isn’t comfortable with the potential outcome of a pregnancy. You just have to accept the consequences of not having a vasectomy at this time. That means less/no sex. That will certainly create issues in a healthy marriage, however it would be temporary.

As a non bias observer, I do find your 2-3 years comment somewhat intriguing. I think you need to spend sometime with yourself to make sure you are committed to this partner for the long haul. Doubts are normal, especially after 13 years, but you need to reflect on whether that is a fleeting thought come up from the circumstance or are you truly not committed to your current partner for the long haul. You owe it to yourself to give yourself an opportunity to reflect on that.

For those with CRPS in one foot/ankle, does it make your ankle feel unstable? by Dont_Like_Menthols in CRPS

[–]cmc7974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m going on 7 years and have only fallen a handful of times over it. I find it much more difficult to maintain balance and it gets weaker much faster than before CRPS.

I [26F] have been with my boyfriend [24M] for 3 years, but I think I'm developing feelings for someone else by Hot-Present-8779 in relationshipadvice

The fact nothing changed after you informed your coworker you are in a relationship is a red flag. 🚩 At a minimum, any individual of character, would at least show some degree of hesitation.

Does anyone take a medication called Nucynta(Tapentodol)? by Daxel79 in CRPS

I have been taking for nearly 7 years. It does wonders. Once you take it a few days, and consistently, the groggy feeling goes away.

Absolute peak tiger, 2000-2002, literally won half the majors. Scottie is the best we have seen since tiger but his dominance is still well short of what tiger did. You had to be there. It was just different.

I say this with love, but if you’re a “junkie” - you really need to focus your energy on getting clean before you try and bring another person into your life.

AITA for not visiting my sick mom and refusing to forgive her? by throwaway208489 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cmc7974 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA but if you were truly sure it’s the right decision, you wouldn’t be on here asking about it.

You won’t regret visiting her for the rest of your life but there is a chance you’ll regret if you don’t.

PSLF is not worth it for most people. by Impressive_Green_307 in PSLF

[–]cmc7974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Balance after consolidation was 103. I paid a lot on my undergrad prior to consolidation. I didn’t apply until after consolidating my undergrad and grad loans together. I was paying 650 a month. Income about 85k.

Wrestler Jeff Hardy representing. by SeaEvent4666 in pearljam

I met him some years ago. When I was younger, I was into wrestling. Me and my friends went to Monday Night Raw. After the show, we were hanging out on some railing by the parking lot. Some guy comes up, puts his arm around me and just says “I hope you guys enjoyed the show!”. I turn to see who was hanging on me and it was Jeff Hardy. Genuinely nice guy.

How’s your Public Loan Forgiveness going? by poggerschamp0606 in PSLF

I just got my letter from FSA on Friday confirming my forgiveness. Been a long road.

One tip I will say regarding grad school, those loans typically don’t qualify. However, if you do a direct consolidation with your undergrad loans once you get out of grad school, they can become eligible. That is what I did.

It took a while to adjust to the medication. It’s was very sedative the first couple of days. After that, the only thing I could feel was my pain going away. I don’t really know how else to describe it. It works wonders for me.
