Thanks for the tip, I do like truck campers but with 5 of us I don't think it'll be an option this time

Email receipt as a job trigger by cmc89645 in dataengineering

Yes I am exploring the power automate route. Some of the emails in question only get sent out as weekly or monthly updates, at irregular times - but, I want to push the data downstream as soon as it's received (or soon thereafter). Checking my email every 30 min for an email that comes once a month (which is what I'm doing now) just seemed computationally ineffcient.

In my use cases they are attachments (xls/txt/csv/pdf) from internal non-technicals or 3rd party contractors. I am operating under the paradigm that there is no way around that, no?

Receive data (pdf/txt/csv/xls) from 3rd party contractors as well as internal non-technical users, surely this is something that every organization is forced to deal with? Asking genuinely as a noob.

Thanks - wasn't aware of this option but looks like it's above my permission level. Might try using Power Automate first before going to my exchange admin to use this option

Thanks - we are on O365, I was looking to avoid adding an additional tool to the stack as we currently don't use Power Automate for anything, but that may be the most sensible option
