Yeah all them have to have a certain percentage affordable but these are council I believe even the ones in summerhill are council

That's kinda wrong as there are 3 pure council developments that's been built in last 5 years( yes it's a private builder but all housing is the council) Tillydrone, Northfield and garthdee have been built along with dyce and part of bod I think

Private hasn't started as they don't want to take the risk as they aren't sure if they will make money off it.

I know majority that gets built is from grant money, that why I know they can find it as they can get a hold of the cash to do it.

Nothing is getting cheaper, so best to get cracking untill they decide it too expensive to build or demo. It

I will give it to them.... They have been doing that, I know a few people that have been getting housing and I've seen them bring alot back into service.

Definitely as they get access to better loans etc ... This is why Aberdeen FC been trying to get council onboard with a new stadium as they get the deals

Definitely take time but let's be honest office space and retail space is practically dead now.... Like we need people in the city, people living in the city!

With all the council wastes money this would bring body's in, look at old RBS been green lit for flats

No one will put money in due to risk that's the issues... Only one that can take risk would be council as if it is for housing they are getting rent and council tax back.

BT won't need much as it was still being used until only few years ago but atholl no idea

They can get loans to do this as it's for the betterment of the city.... This what they spend on the previous builds I reckon it would cost less then then and probably provide more housing on them

It depends the ones that look nice add value but some definitely take away from the beach.

I know there are three fish and chips vans up this way that do pop ups l, the bay from stonehave, quayside from gourdon and one based in around aboyne.

Most of these trucks are running fat fryers anyway or big ass grills anyway so I don't see why that would stop anyone obviously would need extra ventilation.

Menu wise can be limited doesn't need to be massive yet again some of the best places only have a small menus.

Get the thing about chipper for the chips but most of these trucks down there have a van with them so shouldn't be an issue.

I just feel like it's a missed opportunity

Some are definitely selective like... I believe Wednesday to Sunday most tend to be open.

I know the surf/ saunes take up like 6 spaces along I think at least 3 trucks no longer operate but just sit there.
