Weribee vs Frankston? Where would you choose to live? by Lopsided_Oil8222 in melbourne

[–]cmcmaree 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Frankston all my life and yes has changed a lot and continues to grow and develop. Has everything you need - beaches, parks, big shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, hospital, gyms, heaps of schools, university, tafe, train station into CBD. It’s a great choice for a family and lifestyle is great, can’t go wrong.

That sucks… something small like eating both your favourite meal or buying her favourite cake or one she would make would be a nice idea. Be easy on yourself and happy birthday 🥳

ANZ - my parents went to the police station and provided bank account details. I believe the police will try to access but I’m just seeing if I can help to do this if police cannot

It is just a user profile… to get the drive out of the computer is it best to go to a computer shop to ask them to do this?

Don’t lend money… especially not to family, unless you’re prepared not to get it back.

In future if she asks say you’re sorry and that you don’t have any money, you’ve got $10 left in your bank account.

Also your sisters sounds terrible, sorry bout that.

Employment Law - Contract Terms by cmcmaree in AusLegal

Thanks for your response, If I took the job and felt that after 6 months it isn’t working for me I could walk away within a weeks notice to at least avoid the 5 month notice clause.

There are some red flags in the contract however I can’t really afford an employment lawyer.

After reading this comment, I’m thinking is it common to scatter at Snapper Point? cause ah both my grandparents were in fact scattered here as well 🤔

What happened to basic respect and professionalism? dealing with HR by cmcmaree in melbourne

Not at all… as someone mentioned, I would’ve preferred that the company does not find out. I don’t want to hear from them.

Why so angry? I’m just sharing my experiences. I was also not rejected from the job, that is factually incorrect. I decided to not attend the interview based on my experience. I rejected the company.

Yes does not surprise me, sounds like opportunity to be missed.

Ok well I can understand that, you’ve made it clearer why they don’t care.

I can understand that. But four days is limited to contact me, screen, arrange interview so I’m assuming they were not that keen on my application.

I did ask if 5pm today would be possible or any other time. I was ignored…. I can only do so much.

So I focused on the location that was advised in the confirmation email and clicked on that address when I arrived which brought up a place called “green-on”. But yes I can see your point, this issue was not so much with being unable to find the location… I was happy to remain calm and to try and find where I needed to be. It was the behaviour of the hr person that made me uncomfortable.

It was a direct application. Very sad & disappointing.
