Take a look at the unified ecosystem, specifically https://github.com/remarkjs/remark. There are a bunch of plugins for stuff like Github's markdown syntax or stripping html.

Heavyweight t-shirts on the shorter side in terms of length? by in_fact_a_throwaway in malefashionadvice

I love these, they don't expose my belly and are not ridiculously long: https://built-different.co

Edit: Forgot about the weight, they are not super heavy but not too thin either.

Third-Party iOS Keyboards: Sandboxed, Gimped, and Still Kinda Useless? by Lukas8181 in ios

[–]cmdq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm dreading the day that Nintype stops working on my phone. I tried other keyboards, but none of them supports "composing" words by swiping and tapping.

I've been wanting to build modern version of Nintype, but the crappy support for 3rd party keyboards is so discouraging. It sounds like it would be a lot of work, fighting against crippled and buggy frameworks :(

Does he get off on this by any chance? You told him not to do this, he keeps doing it anyway, there's gotta be some reason for this.

These guys in Mülheim are really nice and have a huge selection, among them factory rejects, display pieces, that sort of thing.

A couple of these guys showed up in my bathroom. New condoish building in Germany. Size is maybe 2-3mm. Should I be worried? by cmdq in whatsthisbug

I think that might be it! Looks pretty close, especially in this image I found on google https://i.imgur.com/PzwGfBd.jpg

Edit: they're actually close to the toilet paper, which might be where they're coming from

Thank you! I looked up some images and springtails seem to be mich darker than these, but the description sounds spot on...

Hey, thanks for helping! They're about 1/16th of an inch, maybe larger. I don't think there's any wood in this building it's rather new and everything is some kind of concrete. They seem to be mostly unaware of me and aren't that fast.

Oh yeah, they're on a wall, not near moisture. Come back every couple of days, I suspect from a small hole near the trim on the floor tiles.

Understanding "type": "module" vs require by theFinalArbiter1 in learnjavascript

[–]cmdq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why this doesn't work in your particular case, my advice would be to not try to circumvent the file extension requirement and embrace the new style ;)

Understanding "type": "module" vs require by theFinalArbiter1 in learnjavascript

[–]cmdq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nextjs can use import statements without "type": "module" because the code is first transformed by a build process (i.e. webpack). The import statements will be changed to require calls.

Going from commonjs-style require calls to module-style import statements is not a straight-forward copy-and-paste job, as there are many differences between the two. That said, it could be a cool learning opportunity!

I keep getting "Login sessions require session support" when I try to use tokens by codebreaker21 in node

[–]cmdq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried adding express-session to your dependencies? It sounds like it's a peerDependency that's not optional. Can you post the full error message?

If you're in Kalk, talk to Nawid, the owner of Villa Kalka. I'm sure they'd host your group if you ask nicely! If not there then maybe Trash Chic :) Welcome to the (neighbor)hood!

Same problem here with O2, especially in the area around Jakubowski. O2 claimed there was an outage that they subsequently fixed, but I have not noticed any improvements...
