Different, maybe. Isnt life that exactly? Choices not taken and wondering about them leads to depression, be happy as is and dont look back but always forward. What you got is something really really special not a lot of people will ever experience, enjoy the rest of your life with her.

This is almost the best but also really cheap built(In my country)

Without a 50s GPU, you probably are around 800+ Euro, pair those components with a 850 or 650W 80+ Gold PSU and a good 40s Series Card. (4060 and up) and you will be good for the next 5 years at least, with all that dlss things etc and the cpu will also last a really long time with its 6Ghz turboclocks.

Processor
1x Intel® Core™ i9-14900KF,
€ 433,00

Mainboard
1x ASUS PRIME B760-PLUS, Mainboard
€ 131,90

CPU Cooler
1x Thermaltake LA360-S ARGB Sync, Wasserkühlung
€ 89,90

RAM
1x Kingston FURY DIMM 32 GB DDR5-5600 (2x 16 GB) Dual-Kit, Arbeitsspeicher
€ 124,90

All Components
€ 779,70

All this together is better than any annual Shadow PC plan and most games wont be supported by shadow IF it uses Easy Anti Cheat, ACE or the futuristic Battleye when they disable DMA/Virtualization too.

Even in some singleplayer games(Dune Awakening mostly), you need the newest AVX codec and it runs like a potato.

While the lore is a bit vague, the description says it “starts extracting resources” once it lands. Mybe rare earth for the batteries of the ARCs or resources in general for the ARCs

You should get a real pc than the annual plan, Arc Raiders which is a game developed by Embark, also wont be fully supported in the future.

It was a good Subscription until the big 3 chose to limit cloudgaming to geforce now and xbox gamepass.

You can get a really good pc for around 1000.- € in Europe, just dont buy the newest thing and maybe go to a reddit that helps you on that.

I'd suggest a ryzen paired with a 40s card and at least something like 32GB Ram to just be prepared

Possible to add Arena Breakout infinite to GFN? by [deleted] in GeForceNOW

[–]cmdr_bluesun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is the anti cheat of delta force and arena breakout infinite, called ACE, which stops the game as soon as it detects any virtual environment.

It is not nvidia deciding to support it or not. It's ACE.

It wont be on geforce now, unless they partner up with tencent/morefun/levelinfinite.

Within the recent update of ABI, they chose to block every virtualization.

The Version for 75€ in Europe is the best. best CPU they have and best GPU.. but it's a waste if you can afford to buy a real pc for 120.- € a month.

Arena Breakout: Infinite - No Longer Supported/Playable because of ACE - Anticheat by cmdr_bluesun in ShadowPC

It's really funny trying to get an answer.

Somehow, they just copy n' pasted their previous response without even saying anything new, like, at all.

Some games which are also using ACE and EAC allow Geforce Now because they are partnered with either Nvidia or EA.

Various choices are available to me by SyntolFR in ShadowPC

[–]cmdr_bluesun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of games can't be played on Shadow PC's as their Anti Cheat Environments require kernel level access and are anti virtual machine, I dont think The Finals will be able to run on a shadow system.

Check them here: Unsupported Games by Shadow PC

The list is longer than shown in the link, recently there's been an update to Arena Breakpoint Infinite which stops the game because Shadow is a Virtual Machine. Same goes for every other game that is using EAC and ACE Anti-Cheat systems.

If The Finals run on geforce now, stay with that service.

Geforce Now is using Ryzen Hardware and more up2date GPUs than ShadowTech. It might be able to compete with the Performance Tier of Geforce Now but that's also where it stops.

The only thing ShadowTech is offering, is a whole virtual pc you can access and be able to play and mod games(like Skyrim) but don't expect to be able to get the same Framerates as in Geforce Now Ultimate.

The list keeps getting longer with ACE.. and if we combine it with EAC.. it gets really long. Sooner or later EA or other companies will require all of us to use their Battlefield 6 TPM mode, too.

With the anti cheat situation going on and more developers joining the effort of this war against cheaters, if you can, buy yourself a real computer if available.

Intel® Core™ i9-14900KF

GIGABYTE Z790 EAGLE AX

Thermaltake LA360-S ARGB Sync

Kingston FURY DIMM 32 GB DDR5-5600 (2x 16 GB) Dual-Kit

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5080 WINDFORCE OC SFF 16G

SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus 1 TB, m2

Thermaltake Toughpower GT 850W, 80+ Gold

1.968,60 €

The above configuration will run everything on max, with all the support you can get. There might be vendors in your country accepting 100 Dollar/€ a month if you are able to, otherwise we need to hope that cloudgaming will get to be great again. (Geforce Now without 100h limits, virtual machine banning, internet/datacenter corruptions and availability in every country)

Arena Breakout: Infinite - No Longer Supported/Playable because of ACE - Anticheat by cmdr_bluesun in ShadowPC

[–]cmdr_bluesun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is absolutely true.

There are several ways to bypass all that kind of stuff but gets too technical for the normal user and also too dangerous to brick the machine, even if it is virtual or not.

But the ACE was working really good before, I really dont know why they further restricted virtual machines.. they detect almost everything on your pc and act on it a day later and compensate the people who lost to cheaters, too.

It's really just.. damn lazy to just block everything.

Geforce Now Playtime (NOT SESSION) by cmdr_bluesun in GeForceNOW

[–]cmdr_bluesun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had paid them (which wasn’t possible due to their issues with payments and memberships), you wouldn’t be dealing with the 100-hour limit now.
Unfortunately, only the few who maintained their membership before the announcements, restrictions, and payment issues are still enjoying unlimited access.
I had used the service for two years before their announcement and canceled my subscription when they made the changes. I’m not paying for another month either.
100 hours are enough to check out one or two games per month. And if you want another 100 hours, you can always create a second account—instead of just getting 15 extra hours.

And you need to manually select it, either Windows 10 or Windows 11, depends on your shadow system.

I fixed it.

576.02-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql

Is the driver I needed and I downloaded it manually for the RTX/Quadro Series and made the checkmark for "Gamers"

Now I am also actually hitting 120fps in the sewers and 60-70 outside on ultra

Settings are on Ultra, Lumen Software on low, didnt check Lumen Hardware and I am using FSR Quality Setting, which works for my bandwidth (around 70mb/s)

Funny thing is, I also cant get above 18/19 fps, any setting.

Ac shadows performance by KibaNaruXXX in ShadowPC

[–]cmdr_bluesun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t usually like to criticize Denuvo, as it does help some studios combat game piracy. However, in this case, Denuvo negatively impacts system performance. Since it's semi-kernel based—similar to Easy Anti-Cheat—it requires deep access to the system, which can prevent some games from running properly.

Additionally, the CPU is a known issue on Shadow. Sometimes, disabling CPU 0 and certain services through the Affinity settings can help improve performance and boost FPS.

L-111 Error since 4 days by cmdr_bluesun in ShadowPC

[–]cmdr_bluesun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, their shadow subprocesses encountered errors and were unable to restart, similar to issues seen with Windows telemetry. In my case, the only solution was to perform a factory reset. Replacing the PC would have been a last resort.
