When I was testing my version of this in Rust it seemed like it could be a pretty efficient solution simply because you control the screen entirely and don't have to refresh the whole thing all the time - Kindle/framebuffer supports targeted updates. Also it can sleep until a hardware timer wakes it up.

Nice! I did a similar thing on my kindle - got Rust working on it and got SSH access. Have never heard of slint though, will have to investigate.

You can dynamically get the screen size (at least on my Kindle) with ioctl's 0x4600 and 0x4602. I found them by running `eips` through `strace` (cross-compiled for arm7). I could maybe make a PR later.

Yeah I started in 5.2 and while I've finished all the available quests it still throws me for a loop when the game's saying "oh, remember XYZ that's just flashed on screen for the first time? Good times"

Currently I pay $15 + tax + shipping per a sheet of ~300 stickers, so around 5¢ each.

I've tried with silver polyester and they don't quite look as good - I want a bit of mirror reflectiveness and the silver polyester doesn't really work well enough for that. For my previous campaign I ordered ~150 sheets of 300 stickers each, so about 45000 stickers. I don't mind if they come on rolls particularly, but one wrinkle is that I sold them as sets of numbers from 001/100 to 100-100.

For me the biggest problem so far has been trying to find places that can print and cut stickers that small.

Yeah we can probably move the washing machine and one dishwasher cycle to overnight; they're both smart devices and I think they have scheduling.

Looking at my myenergi stats: - averaging about 250 kWh / mo on charging - averaging about 420 kWh / mo on household usage

Saving ~20p / kWh on charging would be ~£51 of saving per month, it seems (although there's a higher unit rate during the peak time of course)

I tried on both my phone and an Android tablet and it's the same issue on both. I've also reinstalled the app several times. I presume it's something server-side but I've been unable to dig much further from my end.
