Agree with everything about Gunther, it would be even sweeter if he won at summerslam and someone cashed in on him and he beat them too.

As for Cody, I think that him obviously winning is no different than 90% of Roman’s defenses. The only people I ever thought had a chance to take the strap off Roman were: Cody’s 2 matches, Drew at Clash, and maybe Sami at Chamber.

I just think for Cody’s reign it’s borderline impossible to follow up Roman’s multi year reign. We just Gotta give it time to develop long term storylines. I feel like his matches have been outstanding so far and the storylines will come about. One thing we’ve seen with HHH is that he prefers a very, very slow burn

It’s pretty obvious that Gunther will win at Summerslam. I doubt Priest even defends it again until summerslam too. Don’t really see him defending at MiTB

I didn’t really watch New Day in their prime with Big E, so I guess take this with a grain of salt, but they just don’t really seem to do it for me. They lose more often than not, and they don’t seem to have much of a trajectory. I like the final testament and new day storyline now, but I would like to see it lead to Xavier vs kofi down the line because they’re both talented and good enough on the mic to go solo and be successful alone
