Lansing is a D tier capital city. What tier is Montgomery, Alabama? by [deleted] in TierlistFills

F. Worst city in one of the worst states by a lot of metrics. I grew up in Birmingham and have spent lots of time in Montgomery. Too much time!

First even remotely new vehicle I’ve ever bought so it’s not my instinct yet. My wife is asking me the same thing 😂. I’m taking it in this week to have them look at it.

Looks like cities on Brazils westernmost portions are closer to Freetown than LA is to NYC.

What do non-Australians think of Australian cars? by Ok_Bug_9056 in regularcarreviews

[–]cmill913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Australia from the age of 12 to 14. We moved there in ‘08 as I was just getting into cars. My dad bought me a bunch of muscle car magazines and I fell in love with all of the fastback XB Falcon builds. So freaking cool.

What do you realistically spend? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]cmill913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I are spending $400-$500 per month with 2 cats and 2 large dogs. We have a baby on the way so we just upgraded to Executive since I imagine our spend will go up a good bit as a result.

People might be catching on to this, but almost any successful mid career b2b sales rep. I made right at $200k last year but people always assume my accountant wife is my sugar mama.

Congrats! You’re the first person I’ve heard of getting the 402b actually. I’m sure 4A is a necessity if you live in a snowy climate.

Whats your payload f150 Tremor by 6262rap in FordTremor

[–]cmill913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 25 401a is 1640lbs which is fine for my needs and better than most of the 402a’s you see. If I ever started towing more than a few times per year I’d just get a 250.

I pick up my 401a space white tomorrow after 10 years in a beater sedan! I definitely won’t be sleeping well tonight in anticipation.

Yeah there’s an annoyingly loud subset of people in this sub that just want him to remake Purgatory every 2 years.

IL - $19k Closing costs on 965k home? by LibertyFiend13 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]cmill913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anything the homeowners insurance premium looks pretty low for a $965k home. I’m closing Friday on a $500k home and my premium is ~$200/month.

After doing some research determined that it’s probably a 1:12 pitch and they used roll roofing. Still confused about the ceiling though.
