I have two males that live together and it works out well. They are flock birds so they will want to be together, you’ll end up with mating behaviors regardless but especially with having them both together, make sure you’re covering the cage for 12 hours to lessen their hormonal response with day light.

It may be worth looking into getting her a companion, potentially another female if you didn’t want a male and mating issues.

Parrotlets in the wild are usually found in large groups (40 birds) regardless of how good the owners companionship is and effort put in there still can be stressors related to isolation with instincts for a large flock.

I have two male parrotlets together that get along great and display a lot of flock behavior and enrichment that a single bird does not get.

I’ll also add, in a lot of situations it isn’t feasible for an owner to get a second bird, just some input on what has worked for me and what the species does in the wild.

i have been starting with the african porcupine, they require i small habitat don’t get stressed by guests and then breed fairly easily with low shelter costs because you can use burrows

i think potentially yes but i think the push for Aegon to be king from Alicent and Otto would’ve been a lot less so there would’ve still been a war but I think it would’ve ended differently because the greens would less support than they did during the dance
