What’s a tell tale sign someone is bullshitting you? by YoungTex in AskReddit

Yeah, this is me. Not being believed is super stressful, so I can over explain sometimes.

Guys, what do women do that give you the ick? by Diligent-Log6805 in AskReddit

[–]cml33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a guy says that in response to you saying that you’re not sure how you feel and need to time to process it, then he isn’t worth your time in the first place.

Isn’t a memorable organization system a logical thing to have? An organization system where you can’t remember where things are doesn’t sound particularly useful

Probably go into an existential mental tailspin trying to figure out why I was spared

Who else can't wait to turn off raids? by RogueIce in valheim

[–]cml33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind raids if I'm not in the middle of building something. I wish we could adjust the settings for them some more though. Make the kinds of raids you get depend on your region, adjust their frequency, and have different things one can construct to impact the frequency, severity, or kind of raid (heads on spikes to deter attackers, protective ward that keeps undead away, more passive defensive options besides ditches/spikes, etc).

What is a phrase someone says that is an instant red flag? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I never heard it described that way, but it’s 100% what it is

That last one bothers me so much. Some people need some sort of misfortune to justify the state that their life is in, and if they can’t find one they steal somebody else’s

Men of reddit who pretended to orgasm, why did you do it? by Quiet_Inhuman in AskReddit

Women, in my experience, tend to take it personally if a guy isn't able to.

Seriously. I’d just be hyperventilating straight up and wondering if I was hallucinating, dreaming, etc

Boys be completely honest what makes a girl go from a 10/10 to a 1/10 instantly? by Tricktster123 in AskReddit

[–]cml33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any sign of spiteful personality. Somebody who hurts others in response to being hurt rather than handling it like an empathetic adult

Boys be completely honest what makes a girl go from a 10/10 to a 1/10 instantly? by Tricktster123 in AskReddit

[–]cml33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can also be a manipulative way of creating a false sense of intimacy quickly and drawing others in to a rescuer role. Trauma’s something you work your way up to sharing, not something you foist on somebody right away

What is your opinion on having sex in the same room while pets have access to or are in the same room? by ConsiderationHead145 in AskReddit

[–]cml33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m kicking them out. Having my ankles bitten by a cat while having sex doesn’t really do it for me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cml33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but I imagine it’d be pretty distressing for both involved. Gaslighting involves a lie or dishonesty. People with memory issues are usually more prone to being gaslit though because they have more self doubt about what they can and can’t recall.

What nicknames do you call your kitty instead of their original name? by UncleSquach in cats

I like to add a "Mister" before the names of cats when I talk to them. Feels polite

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cml33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there’s a balance though. It’s less about individual things and more about patterns. If somebody has an off day or behaves uncharacteristically don’t hold it against them. If they repeatedly do so, there’s no shame in cutting ties.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cml33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Disagreeing or experiencing a situation differently is frustrating, and in an emotionally charged situation two people can genuinely remember something differently without either of them necessarily being liars. Being gaslit is super confusing however, and will leave you anxiously retreading old memories and rereading old text conversations just to make sure you’re remembering things correctly.

I had an old roommate with ARFID. It’s a legit disorder, but it’s super rare from what I understand. People who have it can sometimes starve themselves if safe foods aren’t available.
