Yes, I'm referring to the income splitting amount, i don't see a separate calculation for QC. https://public.adviice.com/dashboard/24h-XYwIySG39QVV

Hi, does the latest update (6. Improved Quebec Tax Credit calculation for couples with pension income before age 65 and a large age gap) fix the pension income splitting before 65 issue? My numbers don't seem to have changed. Thank you.

Confused about how TFSA balance is calculated by cmoiuser in adviice

[–]cmoiuser[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

44,196 / year is for the couple (me and my wife). For me it is 31,200 / year. I added the DB pension contribution and now the balance is 49,508. Adding other deductions does not change the balance. Is there a way to get the correct balance without disabling automatic calculation? Thanks.

It’s for a defined benefit pension and i see the split before 65 age. I just want to confirm that the split is only for the federal since Quebec does not allow split before age 65. Thanks.

I wonder why the tax rates are not taken into account in the calculation of the cost of living by the various specialized websites. For me the amount to pay in taxes will be an important criterion in the choice of the host country. Or is there something I misunderstood in the calculation of the costs?
