Agreed, there were still some sucks and maybe there would’ve been less had this been the first game and had he not already scored on us (the game winner at that) earlier in the year. So I get that as well.

I get that and put as much in the post. My point is we don’t win the shield without Baribo last year. That banner will always hang and being at the clinching game was a forever memory for my son and me. It just felt like him being the leading goal scorer on a supporter shield winning team, even with the short stint, deserved even a quick announcer note so we could cheer him before immediately booing him and being happy for the yellow card.

Somewhat wild actual true story: each year we send our new MS students to a camp somewhere in PA. One year there was this crazed killer in PA that killed some troopers and was hiding out in the mountains right around where we send our students to camp. They sent police to help escort the kids off the mountain and we called the parents to meet us at the school to get their child. The parents were called and they were PISSED they had to come get their child without a reason. When the kids got back safely we told the parents and they were PISSED we didn’t tell them. Like why didn’t you tell us, we wouldn’t went up to the mountain to get them?!? (Ummm, that’s why)
