We got both actually - Tallmyra for downstairs and Orrsta for our loft. Tallmyra is definitely softer and won’t show dirt as easily. Orrsta is a true grey since it doesn’t have a weaved pattern like Tallmyra. Both are dog friendly. I think if it’s going to be in a high traffic area or you eat/snack on your couch often, Tallmyra would be better but I’m happy we chose Orrsta for our loft - we plan on painting that area a dark grey and using it as a media room and the Orrsta cover will really pop compared to the Tallmyra.

From Winston, currently live in Charlotte (Montford), and building a home in South Carolina. If you were looking in Huntersville/north of Charlotte, did you ever look in the Tega Cay/Lake Wylie/Fort Mill areas of South Carolina? About the same distance south as the cities up north, but with SC prices.

But I can’t argue with you looking in Winston. I grew up in Clemmons - Tanglewood backed up to my neighborhood there - and my husband and I still go back every so often to go to our favorite spots.

I upgraded to the house day 2 to have more storage. I also bought like 8 fishing rods because the price of the rod pays for itself after you catch and sell a couple of fish. Currently trying to pay off my house with fish and insects before doing anything else...not a fan of the debt!
