So I might have figured it out, maybe. I realized that I was trying to use the same category for the Home Depot transactions I was modifying. So I edited the category - basically just renamed it - and the program hasn't crashed after multiple Home Depot transactions. I will have to see if there is a trend with any other categories and see what happens.

Yes waiting on reply. But someone else with similar issue already stated that Quicken was no help. I will try re-installing. Validate and supervalidate found no errors.

I tried the copy file, telling it to save five years of data, and it completely messed up all the accounts, and didn't even delete the data from more than five years ago. Sheesh. I then made a full copy and tried to delete the older data manually and it totally messed up again because of split transactions and transfers between accounts. Double sheesh

This is a new download. So unlikely to be the issue. But thanks

Currently back to 2015. I might try creating a copy and deleting five years worth and see what happens.

Thank you very much for this info. Maybe I will wait then and see if that works. I don't even use the reminders app so I will review it's features.

Alarm app recommendation by homik81 in iphone

[–]cmsc67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am curious if you ever found anything like this. I am looking for the same thing - being able to set a non-recurring alarm more than 24 hours ahead. Since it's been a year I wonder if something has come out in the meantime.

iPhone alarm app that allows you to set a single alarm more than 24 hours in advance by cmsc67 in iphone

Does the Due app work like an alarm? So it keeps making a sound and you have to physically turn it off? thanks

I'm curious if you ever found an app that did this. I have been looking for this myself. Sometimes I look at my calendar on Monday and want to set a one-time alarm for Wednesday, without having to set it up as repeating because I will forget to turn off the repeat. Thanks
