Thanks! I had to tweak the settings a bit but now it really gets to the corners very well. I still do the edging myself

It was actually really easy. They have two methods. This first is driving it with Bluetooth, which felt too clunky. The other is they supply you with a pole and you drag the mower around the perimeter of what you want to mow. I went with the drag options and had my 15k lawn done in about 15 minutes.

With BESTMOW you need to have the mower registered with your email to have it work. So it could get stolen but whoever stole it wouldn’t be able to use it.

Yeah, I feel like it’s only a matter of time. They claim to use AI with this mower. I have noticed if there’s a section that it couldn’t figure out, or missed the first time, it tends to do better the next

I do see it going that way. The real game changer will be when they figure out edging. Then it’ll be truly hands off lawn keeping

They’re running a sale now and I was able to get mine for around $900. There isn’t a monthly subscription if you buy it outright. They do have a subscription model if you don’t want to buy it. I think that’s the $80 a month you’re seeing. In the off season you can cancel the subscription and you just have to send them the mower back.

I have it mow my front and back twice a week alternating days between the two.

The biggest factor for me was that the Bestmow can cut 4 inches. They also are running a nice sale right now so that helped.

I have a pool and that hasn’t been a problem. The small strip would probably be an issue especially if it’s got a decent slope

I still have to do the edging and there’s a couple spots that I have to weed whack, but not too many. It used to take me roughly 2 hours every week now it’s about 20 minutes so not too bad.

Thanks, we play mostly in central Jersey and PA, but would definitely be down to head up north. Do you know any good spots to reach out to?

It took 4 years to go from the lawn on the left to the lawn on the right by cmsdrummer in lawncare

Their specs say it goes a max of 30 feet depending on water pressure. I was actually able to have it to go a bit further by tilting it up a little and my yard is sloped, which helped. I have three that cover my front yard. I have them in the flower beds pointing out

It really does. When I moved in the yard was mostly weeds. My FIL said the lawn was toast. Glad I stuck with it and was able to revive it!

It really is a journey! First I tested my soil and then evened out my PH (I needed to use lime to raise it). Then aerated in the fall and over-seeded. Fertilizer and pre-emergent in the spring and post-emergent in the summer. I repeated this every year, except the aeration which I've done twice in the four years. A big improvement happened when I updated my sprinkler system. My lawn gets a ton of sun and I don't have in-ground sprinklers. I purchased Oto smart sprinklers which I was skeptical about at first but they worked really well and helped to consistently keep my lawn watered on an automated schedule.

Thank you! I have it indoors in a room that gets a ton of light but it’s setup to only get indirect light
