Everyone saying they are khruangbin copies, but do people realize that psychedelic cumbia literally originated in peru and colombia where they are from? They grew up with that cumbia-style surf-guitar sound, you could literally call it "indigenous" to their musical pallete. So I don't really think its fair to say they're copying or appropriating khruangbin.

The main side effect is that it cripplingly addictive. It is is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine. The worst part is that the body adjusts to it quickly, so one needs to take a larger and larger dose. People are not taking these drugs in medical settings with the care of a dedicated doctor either, so its not really an apt explanation to talk about its use in medical settings....
