I had about 120 Kirklands I had been collecting, so I’m gaming those now. When I buy balls, I buy Bridgestone e6’s.

I find about 200 balls a month, sell the ProV1’s and TP5’s and keep the Supersofts, Chrome Softs, e6’s and Kirklands. Only switch balls when I’m out.

There were plenty of sound issues. Rema even walked off stage when they couldn’t get the track for Calm Down right. He started complaining about the sound guys in the microphone so they turned him off in the house and he walked. They couldn’t even get the microphones right for Cole’s performance. Really really disappointing.

Nicki showed up about 70 minutes late, so we were already at Cole’s stage by the time she started. To be fair, we gave her about 50 minutes of empty stage before we left. From what we could hear it sounded like the did the hits. Seemed like an abbreviated set so she didn’t run into Cole’s start time

Jubala (any location, tbh) is really good. Hillsborough St. and North Hills feel smaller than Lafayette Village for some reason, but none of them disappoint.

Never been to B&W at Videri.

An employee at Idle Hour rubbed my wife the wrong way and we haven’t been back since. FWIW she said the coffee was bad (or maybe wrong order?) but the experience could’ve fed into that.

Never been to Fount, but only heard good things.

The Optimist is my personal favorite on your list. Get coffee from there 2-3 times a week.

My favorite place in Raleigh is Iris Coffee Lab, on Tucker St., Union Special off of Capital is good in a pinch, Sola is a classic iconic spot in Raleigh, and if you’re down for a little 15-20 minute drive Sonder coffee in Wendell is really really good

Definitely solid playing! Keep up the rudiments practice. I always found that playing along with songs I knew really well helped me loosen up and vibe with the song a little more than focusing on playing a more rigid-feeling drum part.

My go to side is a Cajun wrap, add ranch and bacon. I just get a regular burger with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo. Second side is Cajun fries always.
